The Gift You Cannot Refuse
God gave humanity the greatest gift we would ever receive. It is the gift of His Son Jesus Christ. He gave His Son to be a ransom for as many as would receive Him. He gave up His only Son to redeem as many as would accept Him. His Son came to the world, not to condemn but to save and redeem all they that would believe in Him.
On earth, Jesus suffered, died on the cross, was buried and on the third day rose again. He took the punishment for our sins so that all that would believe in Him will no longer bear the punishment He has borne on their behalf. Believers in Jesus would not be judged by God because their punishment has fallen on Christ, His Son. They would escape the punishment for their sins and the eternal damnation of sin. Believers will not pay for their sins. Their Saviour Jesus Christ paid it all.
John 3:16-18 says,
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
Everyone that believes in Jesus Christ receives everlasting life and is saved from the punishment of his sins. Rejecting Jesus is rejecting the gift of salvation and eternal life from God. Rejecting Him is rejecting what He did on your behalf. Rejecting what He did on your behalf means embracing judgment and eternal damnation. All who reject Jesus are already condemned.
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
Acts 4:12
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
There is only one way of salvation given to man by God. That one way is Jesus Christ. He's the only way to God. You can only get to God through Him. In Him is salvation and life. He is the way, the truth and the life. He is God's perfect gift of life to you, the gift you can't refuse. Receive Him and have the assurance of life, now and in eternity.
