God Rejoices Over You
God says He will rejoice over you. For the great things He would do in you and through you, He will rejoice over you. This promise is from a Father that loves His child without reservation. It is from a Father that has only good and beautiful plan for a beloved child.
The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. Zephaniah 3:17
We just kicked off the new year. Begin it with this promise of the Father and let your expectations grow by it. Anticipate what the Lord is going to do in you and through you this year. Stand on this promise by faith. Hold on to it. Know that this very year is going to be different from your other years. It’s going to be a year of abundant blessings and supernatural touch from on high like you’ve never witnessed before. That is what God promises.
Zephaniah 3:17 says that the Lord we serve is mighty. He is great. He can do all things. He will joy over you with singing. Because of His love for you, He is about to do great things in you, for you and through you. Through your eyes of faith, see the beautiful new horizon of God’s blessings, favour and breakthrough upon you this year. Let your countenance light up in delight because of what the Lord will do this year. There’s the sound of abundance of rain. It is a rain of righteousness, breakthroughs and blessings from on high. This is the year of breaking out you’ve been waiting and praying for.
Don’t let the negativities, failures, obstacles and errors of the past year or years affect your expectation of the best this year. Don’t listen to the discouraging whispers of the enemy. It doesn’t matter how many times you have failed or how impossible your situation looks. It’s not important what you did wrong or got wrong in the past. What matters is what God says He would do; His promise. His promise is what is important.
Walk with God this year. Remain consistent in love and in relationship with Him. Get your hopes high again because something is about to happen. Live the year happily because of what God is about to do. Love the Lord passionately. Keep your focus on Him. Place Him above all. Let your relationship with Him supersede every other thing. Get ready for what God is about to do. The Scrpture says in 1 Corinthians 2:9 that eye has not seen nor the mind imagined what God has in store for those that truly love and follow Him.
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1 Corinthians 2:9
Love God with a pure heart. Sincerely seek Him with all your heart this year. Follow and serve Him with all intent. Then watch to see the reward of God’s presence and His touch in your life. His presence and the outpouring of His divine blessings upon you will cause the Almighty to rejoice over you. God is about to celebrate you. That’s what He promises in Zephaniah 3:17.
