Desire God
Man's greatest desire on earth is God. To love Him and seek Him with the whole heart is the utmost in a human life. David said in Psalm 42:1,2; "As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God." Jesus commands us to seek God first. We must seek Him and His righteousnes. That's the greatest and most noble desire any man would have. The Lord also said we must love God above all and everything. We must love Him with all we are, all in us and all we have.
Jeremiah 29:13; "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart."
Desiring God and seeking Him comes wholeheartedly. That is what God requires. He wants your heart and all of you to be totally committed to Him and to His pursuit. He would not accept a divided heart or a divided focus. He would not accept a divided attention. God cannot compete with anything or anyone in our lives. He won't accept any less. He wants it all. When we seek God with our whole heart, we'll find Him. That's His divine promise.
Desire God. Seek Him. Love Him. Follow after Him. Walk with Him. Desire a relationship with Him. If you're yet to start a relationship and a walk with the Lord, this is the time. Begin by confessing your sins, forsaking them and asking for His forgiveness through His Son Jesus Christ. Ask for pardon and forgiveness and embrace the Lord and the new life of righteousness He gives by His grace and His Holy Spirit. Desire the Word of God. Grow in the study of God's Word and in prayer. Study the Word of God and be prayerful.
Desire God. Thirst for Him. Go after Him. Pursue Him with your whole heart. Pursue Him and things that are pleasing to Him. Seek Him above all things and you'll find Him. If you make God your greatest desire, you'll have the most fulfilled life on earth and a beautiful eternity with Him.
