President Trump recognises Jerusalem as the capital of Israel
On his campaign trail, President Trump promised to recognise Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Israel and to move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Past presidents made same promise during their campaign but failed to keep it after their elections.
