He Never Leaves
Sometimes we are weighed down by the troubles of life. At such times we may feel lonely and abandoned. We feel God has let us down and doubt if He truly cares. In such vulnerable moments the enemy tries to pitch us against God. He tries to convince us that God is not there for us and doesn't love us as He says. But in contrary, here's what the Scripture says.
Hebrews 13:5
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
God has promised never to leave or forsake us. The reality and truthfulness of this promise is not based on our feelings, what we think or on the enormity of what we are going through. It's not based on how good or bad we are. It has nothing to do with the lies of the enemy. The immutability of this promise is based on who said it- God. It is an everlasting promise of the God that will never lie or fail. He said He never leaves us or forsakes us, and that is perfectly true. It's a promise we can always count on.
Having the assurance of the presence of the ever loving and faithful God is more than anything. Knowing that the Almighty is with you and will always be with you is enough to live on. It gives you peace that passes all understanding. It gives you hope for a beautiful future. Whatever situation you're in, whatever trial you may have, however stormy life may be, knowing that the faithful Lord is in it all with you is the greatest assurance you can rely on. He is in it with you, not to watch you lose the battle, but to give you the victory.
Look up in faith and hope because your Heavenly Father is always right there with you. Live daily in this Divine presence. Bask in it and enjoy life to the fullest. Don't think for a moment He will ever leave. Because He loves, He never leaves.
